About Borescope IT Inc.
Borescope IT Inc Company is a privately owned business, located in Southern Manitoba, Canada. We do manufacture and distribute Non-Destructive Testing Equipment, such as rigid and flexible borescopes (endoscopes, fiberscopes, videoscopes, etc.), Light Sourcing and Video Imaging equipment.
The company was founded in the year of 2007 (incorporated in the year of 2009), registered by Companies Office in Manitoba, Canada.
Borescope IT Inc owns and operates main company web domains: borescopeitinc.com, borescopeit.org, borescopeit.com, borescopeit.ca,borescopeit.co.uk and several others.
We do have an eBay Store as well, where you can get some of our products at a bargain price.
Is this the only on-line store?
Why are your prices so low?
We are not a giant company with a million dollars budget, but we do consistently deliver high quality optical equipment and accessories to our customers across the globe in an absolutely efficient manner, that enables us under certain circumstances to offer special offers and exclusives on top of the already low prices advertised in the store (we do not overprice our products).
However, just because we sell optical equipment in fairly good quantities, that doesn't mean you won't receive the same aftercare that you would benefit from if purchased at a well known brand like STORZ, WOLF or OLYMPUS, to name a few. Our online sales lines are open 7 days a week and, in the event of any problem, our customer support lines are open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM CST. You will also receive full technical support from us, as well as full one year manufacturer's warranty for any product (if not stated otherwise).
What about even lower prices?
We do have a special wholesale program, where we offer bulk discount prices for all our products. In order to qualify, you must meet certain requirements. Detailed information on the program can be found here.
Is there any bonus program?
Yes, we do! With every online purchase you make we send you a discount coupon to use against your next online order. Also, we have automatic accumulative discount system for customers who continue shopping with us. As you can see, we do all our best for your benefit! Will you do a price match?
Yes, sure. If you find lower price somewhere else for a product you are going to purchase from us (specifications of the products should be close to equal), feel free to submit a Price Match form at a product page of your interest (with detailed information on alternate product, URL, price, etc). We will compare the alternate product specifications, warranty and pricing options and will get back to you with our price match offer. We will match competitor's price and will give you extra 2.5% OFF the matched price (discount will be based on the matched price, not the price difference ;) ).
What if I order a product that I don't like?
We operate a 14 days refund policy, where if you change your mind on any purchase you can return it to us within 14 calendar days for a refund. On any product return we charge a 20% restocking fee. Freight charges are not refundable, and return shipping has to be covered by the customer. For complete information on Refund Policy please refer to the Terms and Conditions section of the website.

I cannot find the product I am looking for!
If you are sure the product you are looking for is not listed in our store, you may use Request a Quote section to send us product request. Since we do manufacture rigid and flexible scopes, we offer custom products manufacturing that fits customer requirements. Lead time on on custom products varies between 2 and 4 weeks.
Do you sell used stuff?
No. All our products are 100% brand new and carry 1 year manufacturer's warranty against factory defects.
Do you buy used optical instruments?
No. There is close to ZERO value in used optical equipment. If we buy it and then sell it to someone else, we must cover the product defects and breakdowns somehow. That is very complicated process and it is not worth a penny.
Would you repair my optical instrument?
Yes and No. We do repair only the instruments purchased from us. We do not repair competitor's instruments. If you happen to have a broken scope, we suggest you to contact the place where you bought it from, and arrange the repair. Your repair costs can be as high as 75% of the price you initially paid! So be careful with any optical instruments you handle!
Do your products come with warranty?
Yes, all of our products come with the full international manufacturer’s warranty. You can purchase from us assured with the knowledge that your optical instrument is fully covered for the full warranty period against any factory defects.
Are you a trustworthy supplier of optical inspection equipment?
Yes. We are an independent manufacturer and supplier for all of our optical instruments and accessories. We do not refurbish (and then sell) any products that are usually bought from the 'flea market' like some other internet websites. You should beware of buying from companies who are selling used stuff as they are unable to deal with the manufacturer directly and offer you the support you may need in the event of a problem, or obtain replacement parts. There has been an explosion of internet websites over the past few years, and it can be difficult to determine which are original manufacturers and/or official suppliers and which aren't. With Borescope IT Inc., you are assured that we are a genuine manufacturer of the products listed on this website.
Do you carry any brands like KARL STORZ, RICHARD WOLF, ACMI, OLYMPUS, etc.?
No, we don't. But most of our instruments are compatible with these brands. The reason why we don't resell highly popular brands is simple - very high price margin. We offer similar specifications with very affordable prices that are limited to our manufacturing costs only! We can even manufacture an optical instrument according to your requirements.
Are these products actually in stock?
We stock most of our products listed on this website, but some have to be manufactured right after an order is successfully placed with us. Since we are not a multi-billion budget corporation, we cannot keep all products in stock due to their stock price. Nevertheless, unlike most of our competitors, who do have the same product stock practice, we are earnest with you upfront, and we will ship your order as soon as it gets ready, to be assured of speedy delivery. Another crucial reason for not having some products in stock is simple - you do not want to receive an old scope that has been sitting on a shelf for years.

What security measures do you take to ensure my credit card details are safe?
Our dedicated e-commerce servers are located in a secure environment, and all credit card transactions are processed over a 256-bit SSL connection (provided by Comodo - Certificate Authority and leading global trust provider), which are then processed by Elavon who are one of the US & Canada’s leading credit card processors. This means that your credit card details cannot be intercepted or hijacked. We do not store any of your credit card details, unless you deliberately choose to do so in your online account profile. Your payment is processed securely over our payment system and no one is able to view any of your sensitive details. Our site is regularly tested to be hacker proof by Google and VeriSign. This is how seriously we take internet security.
How will you ship my order?
We will ship it either by Canada Post, FedEx, UPS or to your Courier account, whatever shipping method is available for your location to choose from at a checkout stage. All shipping fees are calculated real time depending on a dimensional weight of the products you choose to order. All shipments are fully insured. In most cases cheapest shipping method is presented for you by default, however you can upgrade to another delivery method in the checkout.
Will you ship to a PO Box?
NO, without any exceptions. Due to the nature and cost of the products we cannot afford lost and/or unclaimed shipments. Every shipment delivery requires consignee's signature.
Do you ship to international locations?
Yes we do. Simply checkout as usual and select your country as normal. Please be aware that International shipping cost is much higher than domestic.
I live in Mexico. Can you ship to my alternative address in US?
Yes we can. We can deliver to alternative work or residential address without a problem. Simply specify your chosen delivery address in the checkout, and in your checkout notes mention it as your alternative address, for a speed up of your order processing.
Can you ship my order on a Weekend?
Unfortunately, we are unable ship any orders either on Weekends or Canadian Holidays at this time.
How can I pay for my order?
For US and Canadian residents we accept VISA, Master Card and American Express Credit Cards. Credit Card billing address should match shipping address, otherwise it will be subject to additional credit card fraud screening. Additionally, we accept Company Cheques, Bank Drafts (same as Certified Cheque), Money orders payable in US funds only.
For Canadian residents we have an option for a direct funds deposit into our US or CAD currency bank account through Royal Bank of Canada.
For International, as well as US and Canadian orders we accept the following types of payments: PayPal, Bank Wire Transfers (known as T/T transfer), Western Union.
Can I place an order by telephone or fax?
Yes, you can order by telephone by dialing US Toll Free number 1-866-288-1418 or International number +1-204-272-5069. Our fax number is 1-204-272-5079. Our office hours are Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM CST (GMT -6). For your convenience, you can place your order online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In what currency will you bill me?
Do I have to pay taxes?
Maybe. Tax is a complex issue, because it depends on what country your order is shipped into. Some countries are easy to import into, and have few restrictions and no taxes. Other countries are ultra restrictive and have high taxes. Before you start importing bigger quantities of Canadian goods to your country, you'll need to research what the law and practices are in your country (or shipping destination countries if you are dropshipping internationally).
Our catalog prices do not include any taxes you might have to pay later, and we do not charge any Sales Tax when you complete your purchase.
The only tax we would ever collect is for Canadian purchases which is 5% GST. We do not charge Canada PST tax. The 5% GST tax for Canadian purchases is obligatory and we must collect it in a checkout process. The GST is calculated on goods only, since we cover other taxes charged on freight.

Do you offer FREE Shipping?
What kind of packaging do you use to protect my goods in a transit?
For the maximum protection, we use fitted FedEx, UPS or custom ordered cardboard boxes which snugly fit any products we sell, filled with air bags or polystyrene. For extra long rigid scopes we use reinforced FedEx Express Tubes, and will ship by FedEx Express Air Service only!
What if I have a question or a problem with your products?
Odd things happen time from time. Don't panic! In the event of your optical instrument having a problem, or you have a question regarding its application and proper usage, as the manufacturer of the product we can provide you with the full support that you require. You may use our Help Desk system to submit a Support Request, or call one of our phone numbers during business hours. We provide you with full support after your purchase!
What is your email address?
Due to the aggressive SPAM activity on Internet, and large volume of email messages we receive, we do not disclose our direct email addresses. Instead, we use a database driven Help Desk system which you can access from our website.
